Two day “Vendor Meet WR- I: 2023” was organized by NTPC Kawas in association CQA&I Department from 26th to 27th May, 2023. 

NTPC Stakeholders - Manufacturers, Contractors and Labs located in the region of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mehsana, Vapi, & Surat were invited for interaction and deliberations on engineering and quality related issues. 

The inaugural session of “Vendor Meet” was chaired by Shri U K Bhattacharya, Director (Projects), Shri M K Shrivastava, ED (Engineering) Shri H K Das, ED (CC & M), Shri A K Chhabra, ED (PM & Consultancy), Shri Neeraj Dubey, HOP, Jhanor, Shri M K Asthana, CGM & Head QA&I and Shri P Ramprasad, HOP, Kawas. 

Director (Projects) interacted with the stakeholders and suggested to deliberate on smarter ways to assurance quality and doing inspection, capability assessment of new manufacturers, reduction in inspection stages based on suggestions from manufacturers and an in-depth study of manufacturing, third wave of transition in Make in India, etc. 

QA&I apprised on sustainability, Upgradation in ERP system, presentations on various updates after USSC formation.
